VPOTUS arrived at Joint Base Andrews at 10:45 a.m., traveling by motorcade.

VPOTUS, a former Indiana governor, will soon travel to Indianapolis, Ind.,
to participate in a memorial service for the late Republican senator
Richard Lugar at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. He is scheduled to
deliver a eulogy early this afternoon. Those remarks will be open press.

Joining VPOTUS on AF2, per VP’s office: Mrs. Pence, Chief Justice Roberts,
Majority Leader McConnell, plus Senators Leahy (D-Vt.), Collins (R-Maine),
Alexander (R-Tenn.), Isakson (R-Ga.), Young (R-Ind.), Braun (R-Ind.), and
Rep. Greg Pence (R-Ind.), VPOTUS’s brother. Former Georgia senator Sam Nunn
also on AF2.

Your pooler briefly spoke with Sen. Nunn, who said he was also scheduled to
give remarks at the service, and saw Sen. Leahy and Rep. Pence. Did not see
the others, but am told they are here.

VPOTUS plans to return to Washington later today.

Weather: Sixty degrees, sunny, not a cloud in the sky.
