JBA

Greetings from a very busy JBA where it’s sunny and 53 degrees and
officials are coordinating outward trips for POTUS, the VP, and a cluster
of Egyptians.

The VP is traveling to New York to give remarks at the United Nations
Security Council and he is expected to reinforce the administration’s
position that Juan Guaido, the Venezuelan National Assembly leader
recognized by over 50 countries as the country’s rightful interim
president, requires more support from the international community.

The Trump administration has unveiled several rounds of sanctions against
the government of Nicolás Maduro in efforts to expedite a transition of
power but Maduro has so far held firm with the support of Russia and China.

Marine Two arrived at JBA at 8:46 am – Marc Short, the VP’s chief of staff,
was among the aides aboard. VP waved before boarding AF2 at 8:52. We will
be wheels up shortly for a 55-minute flight to NYC.

Your pooler spotted Brad Parscale, POTUS’s campaign manager, on his way to
Texas in the JBA departure lounge.
