Following his brief gaggle at the Magna Seating, the Vice President’s
motorcade drove to a local diner, named Canal Wigwam.

Upon entering, he greeted the owner of the diner, Mark Savino, as well as
chatted and took photos with some diners and staff. One of the waitresses
FaceTimed her son, and the VP briefly talked with him.

He sipped on a cup of coffee as he made his way around the diner (and asked
to put it in a to-go cup on his way out.) Three of the diners were military
veterans, and the VP gave them each a challenge coin.

Your pooler chatted with the owner for a bit while the VP shook hands, and
he called Pence an “incredible guy.”

I’ve attached some photos, including a picture of the menu, which includes
the history of the diner, and a photo of one of the challenge coins,
to this email.
